Longtime clients at a new phase of life wanted to remodel their beach house, or at least the husband did…  The only input for the wife was “as long as you work with Billy, I don’t care what you do.”

So, we tore the house down, 

The existing home was a perfectly charming beach cottage, decorated to the nines in classic country style, with lush mature English gardens.  Our clients desired a more contemporary and open plan home that suited their “empty nest) and was inspired by their travels to St. Barths. We developed a classic international style structure, with clean lines in stucco and steel, giant walls of glass, and interior spaces made for entertaining, all opening onto the existing pool. By sheer luck, the pool couldn’t be moved, and what could be viewed as a big obstacle, was a major plus: the proximity of the pool to the residence allowed for an even stronger feeling of indoor/outdoor living. 

The interiors of the home were designed with a casual, easy lifestyle in mind, extra deep seating in all rooms, a glamorous bar, and dream-like bedrooms all executed in shades of white, palest gray, and sand.
